Kings Park is over 400 hectares located close to Perth ’s CBD. The park is a mixture of grassed parkland, botanical gardens and natural bushland. It is popular place for picnics, pleasant walks, cultural and ceremonial events. The new Tree Top Walk takes you through the natural giants of Western Australia; with the tree-lined avenue of towering White Gums an icon of Kings Park . These majestic trees are illuminated with different coloured lights in the evenings and a must see for all visitors.

Besides tourist facilities Kings Park contains the State War Memorial, the Royal Kings Park Tennis club and a reservoir. The streets are tree lined with individual plaques dedicated by family members to Western Australian Service men and women who died in World war 1 and World War II
