Within the City are a number of beautiful parks, gardens and reserves including:

 * Sir James Mitchell Park
 * Neil Mc Dougall Park
 *
George Burnett Park
 * Comer Reserve
 * Bodkin Park

Milyu Nature Reserve
Milyu Nature Reserve and Marine Park is one three areas of tidal flats which are important habitats for waders. They are a significant component of the Swan/Canning Estuary, a wetland of national importance.

Canning River Wetlands
The City has a continuous line of regionally significant bushland and wetland on its southern and lower western foreshores. Walk paths and boardwalks enable most of the acres to be visited.

Scented Gardens & Paperbark Wetland
The Scented Gardens are ideal for a place to sit, reflex and provides a relaxing sensory experience for visitors. The seasonal Paperbark Wetland walk is a reminder of how much of Sir James Mitchell Park appears prior to European Settlement.
